John 14:26 states that Jesus is the only way to the Father.

John 3:3- Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.”

Jesus Christ died on the cross and rose on the third day to redeem you, forgive you of your sins and give you eternal life! Jesus does indeed save. There is nothing you have done that He cannot save you from. He is alive and well and that means good news for us!!! Salvation isn’t something that can be earned by your own merit. Even if you spent the rest of your life never sinning again it wouldn’t be enough to negate the sins you have already committed. That’s why all men everywhere need Jesus!
He is the only way. If you recognize your need for salvation you are on the right track! It is good that you recognize it but it doesn’t stop there. You have to receive God’s free gift! It is simple yet profound!

Rom 10:8-9  But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim); because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”

1. Confess your sin, your need for Jesus and your knowledge that he is the only way!

-“Lord be merciful to me a sinner, I confess my sin to you and ask you to forgive me. I believe You die on the cross and rose again on the third day, in accordance with the scripture. I receive you to be my Lord and Savior and give you my life. In the name of Jesus, Amen!”

2. Believe that Christ died and rose again on the third day! because He is alive He heard your prayer.

– “When we confess He is faithful to forgive and to cleanse…”- 1st John 1:9

Getting saved really is that simple. Staying saved is simple as well! It is a daily decision to continue with Jesus. He will keep you. You must make conscious decisions to stay with Him. Hold on to your ticket!

Here are a couple things to help you keep your grip.

1: Pray: Talk to the Lord and make time to build your relationship with Him.

2: Read the Bible: The Bible is God’s help, and direction for our lives. It is also full of great stories about Himself and other people just like ourselves, that followed Him.

3: Go to Church: Salvation isn’t a one man ordeal. You will gain help from His people. Also you will see that it’s possible to serve God. We can help each other hold on!

Welcome to the family! I’m excited about your decision for Jesus. If there is anything we can do to help you along your journey feel free to ask.
